Description

The upper part of an Egyptian wooden anthropoid sarcophagus. The grinning bronze-colored mask wears an elaborate wig and collar, with a prominent scarab on the forehead and a false beard. Polychrome over gesso, bronze inlay for the eyeliners and brows.
