Our ancient art gallery is located in the heart of New York's art and cultural district, on Fifth Avenue (Museum Mile), next to the Museum of the City of New York, and just a few blocks away from the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Guggenheim Museum. Our gallery hours are by appointment. We offer a varied selection of ancient art and antiquities for sale..We perform all types of appraisals of Greek, Roman, Egyptian, Near Eastern, and Islamic antiquities. Mr. Rifai is a member of the Appraisal Association of America.
Aside from Greek, Roman, Egyptian, and Near Eastern antiquities we offer for sale, we have amassed a comprehensive collection of ancient glass for sale. Our ancient glass collection is among the largest ever offered for sale and it includes most varieties of Greek, Roman, Byzantine, and Islamic glass. Moreover, our ancient jewelry collection (primarily Greek, Roman, and Near Eastern in origin) is nearly as expansive, and includes necklaces, rings, bracelets, and earrings, with most of these pieces being wearable. The feeling of owning a piece of ancient jewelry is like no other: imagine who the original owner could have been! If you do not see what you are looking for, just ask us.
We adhere to a strict ethical code and encourage responsible dealing in ancient art. All objects purchased by us have been legally acquired. If imported by us into the United States, the process rigidly follows U.S. and international regulations concerning trading in antiquities. Moreover, all antiquities offered for sale are unconditionally guaranteed genuine, and each comes with a certificate of authenticity. Our objects are thoroughly checked against databases to ensure that they have not been stolen.
